We all want to drink good water…well I take that back, the few intelligent people in the States want to drink untainted water, the rest are still rather content to have their drinking water infused with the aluminum fertilizer by product affectionitaly known as flouride that has been sold to the public as necessary for healthy teeth as a means of disposing of this toxic chemical for decades now and still going strong! Any way I am already on a tangent, the point here is in the process of attempting to drink good water and the western worlds absurd reliance on convenience, the amount of bottled water bottles that are filling up landfills, littering the streets and constantly showing up in plastic cess pools in the ocean, is inexcusable. It is time that people learned the simple process of reusing a container and buying a reverse osmosis unit for their sink. The Kor One is one such solution to the issue of water bottle reuse, albeit an overpriced (but beautiful one). I am an admitted packaging sucker, even though I am ultimately against pointless disposable packaging in general. So be creative and conscious, find yourself a good glass container with a screw on lid and start filling it up yourself (if you can afford the 15 seconds per fill that it takes, because I know so many of you are just to busy to lose that time and it is much faster to park your Hummer at Mobil and go in to get your hydration fix!). And just an FYI, glass will always be the better way to store foods and liquids which you intend to put into your body. Don’t believe me, do a little search on just what chemicals these plastic water bottles are made out of and how long they sit on the shelf leaching their cheicals into the water that you are about to put into yourself!
