It is very hip these days to be part of the green revotlution in one way or another. But often what we find are company’s that do the equivalent of asking the consumer if “they would like paper or plastic”, and then call themselves sustainable. This is not the case with Barcelona based WASTE, whose sustainable philosophy extends throughout their entire company. They produce very large adult sized bean bag chairs made from reclaimed automotive fabric, a unique choice seeing the fabric is fire resistant, long lasting and easy to clean. Furthermore they have a tailoring workshop do their sewing. But not any ordinary workshop, one that is dedicated to women’s social reintegration! Ok, could I be anymore delighted?
