LADAK blankets are made of recycled material. They build their blankets from the raw materials of processed old sweaters, blankets, jeans or parts of mattresses. They then finish the blankets with lace in nice fabric to bring them an elegant look. They say that their name Ladak, stands for warmth, comfort and protection in style.
The blankets are gorgeous, they are recycled, But the absolute best feature of this product is that 15% of the Proceeds go to their local homeless shelter. And one better, the blankets are named after the homeless people that inspired them!
