Polar bears are in a dire state right now. Due to their ever decreasing environment in the arctic (the only place they can effectively hunt is from the ice) they are starving and drowning as they must swim further from ice mass to ice mass in order to find sufficient food. Their number s are steadily declining.
On group that is seeking to raise awareness around the issue is ADDI Concepts which has designing a life-vest for polar bears. The vest is not intended for production but rather as a means to an end, that being to further increase the visibility of the grave situation the Polar Bears are facing as the ice caps melt beneath their feet!
